HGV Driver Opportunities – Burton on Trent

Employ Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers – Burton-on-Trent for ongoing multi-drop retail deliveries with a leading UK logistics partner. This is a Monday to Friday role with early AM start times and consistent weekly work.

If you are an experienced Class 2 driver based in Burton-on-Trent or the surrounding Staffordshire area, this role offers stable PAYE pay and guaranteed minimum hours

Pay Rates for HGV Class 2 Drivers – Burton-on-Trent

All hours: £16.50 per hour
Paid via in-house PAYE payroll. No umbrella deductions.

• 45-minute break deduction

This role offers predictable earnings and structured weekday work.

The Role – HGV Class 2 Drivers  Burton-On-Trent

AM start times between 04:00 and 07:00
Monday to Friday rota, with flexibility to night out when required
Multi-drop cage deliveries to retail stores
Average shift length approximately 10 hours

This is hands-on delivery work suited to drivers comfortable with store deliveries and physical unloading.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
• Valid DCPC card
• Digital Tachograph card
• Professional and reliable approach
• Good written and spoken English
